Customer Experience Specialist
Job Overview
The Customer Experience Specialist is the face of MSB Aquatics. This role combines customer service, sales, front desk operations, and community engagement to help create an exceptional experience for every family who walks through our doors.
This is not a typical front desk position — we are looking for team members who are proactive, personable, and excited to help grow the business while building strong relationships with our families and community.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Experience & Sales
- Welcome families and provide exceptional customer service
- Conduct tours and explain programs, class levels, and pricing
- Answer questions in person, over the phone, and via text/email
- Assist with enrollments, transfers, and account support
- Make outbound calls and follow up with leads and trial families
Community Outreach & Engagement
- Participate in local outreach efforts and community events
- Visit nearby businesses, schools, and apartments to promote MSB Aquatics
- Help build brand awareness and community relationships
Front Desk Operations
- Manage customer check-ins and class flow
- Maintain organization and professionalism at the front desk
- Communicate schedules and updates accurately
Content & Marketing Support
- Capture photos/videos of swimmers and team culture (with proper permissions)
- Assist with social media and promotional content
Facility Standards
- Assist with opening and closing procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the facility
- Ensure lobby, viewing areas, and customer-facing spaces remain welcoming and professional

Lifeguard / Deck Manager
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Lifeguard / Deck Manager to ensure the safety and enjoyment of our guests at our aquatic facility. We’re looking for reliable and energetic Deck Managers / Lifeguards to join our team!
Location: MSB Aquatics 565 S. Preston Road, Celina (Celina Station)
Job Type: Part-Time / Flexible Hours
Reports To: Aquatics Director
Responsibilities
- Monitor the pool and ensure swimmer safety when serving as lifeguard.
- Keep the pool and deck clean, safe, and ready for lessons.
- Escort swimmers to their class stations and assist instructors during lessons.
- Support instructors with skill charts, swim cap ceremonies, and equipment.
- Assist children with restroom breaks and parent communication.
- Restock supplies, equipment, snacks, and bathroom items as needed.
- Perform daily health and safety checks of the pool and deck.
- Switch between lifeguard and deck manager roles depending on schedule and staffing needs.
Requirements
- Current lifeguard certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable, safety-minded, and detail-oriented
- Friendly, approachable, and confident working with kids and families
- Comfortable working in and around a pool environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

Job Type: Part-Time / Flexible Hours - Weekdays & Saturday
Reports To: Aquatics Director
We are seeking passionate individuals who love inspiring children and helping them discover a love for the water.
Responsibilities
- Teach individual and small group swim lessons for all ages.
- Master and implement the MSB Aquatics Learn-to-Swim levels and methodology.
- Educate swimmers on proper techniques and water safety skills.
- Communicate progress and practice suggestions with parents.
- Maintain a clean and safe pool environment and use teaching tools effectively.
- Attend mandatory training and team meetings.
- Support students while actively moving around the pool, including treading water and assisting as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous teaching or swim instruction experience preferred but not required.
- Current First Aid and CPR/AED certification (infant to adult).
- Ability to learn and deliver the MSB Aquatics Learn-to-Swim methodology.
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Ability to keep lessons fun, engaging, and focused.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and actively move around the pool for up to 4 hours.
- Basic computer and smartphone proficiency.
